For the duration of the warm months here at Nystrom Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Nystrom Lake temperatures sink to the 10's.       Nystrom Lake is not the only spot close by, Thompson Pond is a close by lake. There's so much to do here at Nystrom Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Gibson's RV Park and Campground is a splendid site for that. You could also stop at Valley View Club Lake if you're here at Nystrom Lake; it's nearby, also Nystrom Lake Dam is worth visiting while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Geneseo is a nice                  site to spend a night or two, and if you came to camp The Old Timber Campground is a good location to do that. Nystrom Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly July, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture.
