Drift down the rapids of Piney Branch River in a kayak, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Reids' Inn is a fine spot to spend a night or two. New City Reservoir gets a typical amount of rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is when it's the driest. For the period of the long summer days at New City Reservoir temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's, and through       summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Through the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for New City Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. New City Reservoir Dam has brilliant water scenery and it's close to New City Reservoir, and camping at Lake Campalot is always a pleasant experience. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at New City Reservoir. Flat Prairie is a gorgeous spot any time of year, and if you                  came to camp Tilden Campground is a fine location to do that.
