The Fox Ridge Nature Trail offers hiking at its best; you're probably addicted to lakes, Heidecke Lake is one of those close by. Man, is there a load of fun things to do right next door to Negro Slough. You can take a little spree to Aux Sable Lock while you're here at Negro Slough, and if you're here, you could pop by Aux Sable Creek. There's good hiking along the Tallgrass Nature Trail, and a splendid spot to camp here at Negro Slough is Lakepoint Club. This
