Man, is there a load of fun things to do right next door to Negro Slough. You can take a little spree to Aux Sable Lock while you're here at Negro Slough, and if you're here, you could pop by Aux Sable Creek. There's good hiking along the Tallgrass Nature Trail, and a splendid spot to camp here at Negro Slough is Lakepoint Club. This       lake is so wonderful. Lakes are nice; Aux Sable Lake is a lake that's next to Negro Slough; Negro Slough is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Shokakana Family Resort is a fine local campground. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn and Suites of Morris. Negro Slough is right by the Beaver Dam Hiking and Cross-Country Ski Trail; after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Morris is a perfect place to spend a night or two.
