The beauty of Mud Lake attracts many people from all around. Here at Mud Lake there are plenty of people from Racine, and don't forget to stop at Jackson Bay while you're here. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Mud Lake. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Mud Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Mud Lake in fact is in the middle of a striking outdoors paradise.

This lake is so wonderful. There are fine places to explore along the Tamarack View Trail; if you need a place to stay Comfort
Inn & Suites is a fine choice. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park (Snowboarding only - no skiing); getting to Nippersink Creek from Mud Lake is easy. An average amount of rain falls
at Mud Lake; July is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
White River is a delightful whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Mud Lake, and right next door to Mud Lake you stumble on a golf
course called Fox Lake Country Club. Grass Lake Marina and RV Park is a glorious campground nearby; a fine close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Mchenry.
