Hiking along the Opossum Trot Trail is tremendous fun, and if you came for an overnight stay Devils Kitchen Marina and Campground is a great location to camp. The high level of precipitation makes Morgan Pond a pretty wet site; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors SUPER 8 MOTEL - ANNA is a fine spot       to spend a night or two, and there's whitewater on Little Grassy Creek for all you adrenaline kick people. Throughout the summertime months at Morgan Pond highs are typically in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; overnight lows at Morgan Pond through the winter generally descend into the 10's.
