Lees Inn and Suites Kankakee is a glorious site to get some rest, and if you're going to from Kankakee-Bradley, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful. Pike Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to, and Mirror Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Isle Campground is a glorious local campground. | | of the year is February. Eagle Lake is a glorious lake near Mirror Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Bourbonnais (Kankakee/Bradley).

| Shore fishing was great for me this year. I went fishing two weeks straight(excluding Sun). I caught at least two bass per day on one type of bait. 10.5 in. zoom ribbontail worm/black. Each bass weighed at least 1.5lbs. one bass weighed 2lbs and one weighed 2.5lbs...I caught three lg mouth back to back swimming a football jig with crayfish trailer. Good lake to fish if you have a boat or paddleboat. Not the best from the bank. Limited spots to fish.... |
