Mays Lakes is a lake worth visiting. Why not camp at Martin Campground-joliet while you're here at Mays Lakes; whitewater paddling is magnificent on Des Plaines. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. Really good skiing awaits you at Four Lakes, and after a long day outdoors Marriott Oak Brook Hills Resort is a pleasant location to spend a night or two. The annual precipitation here at Mays Lakes is about average; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture.
