High temperatures at Mann Lake all through the months of summer are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while Mann Lake nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. A delightful place to camp here at Mann Lake is Steamboat Hill Campground. Lakes? Sure, Hohman Lake is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant close by hotel       is Comfort Inn Metropolis. Super 8 Motel - Metropolis is a nice site to get some rest, and don't leave Mann Lake without first paying a visit to Mill Spring. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the neighborhood of Mann Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the River to River Trail, and you can run the rapids of Bear Branch. Not far from Mann Lake, you'll hit upon Hunnerkoch Lake which is a gorgeous lake, and Mann Lake is right by the                  River to River Trail. Mann Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Musketeer Campground is a good local campground, and a pleasant spot for whitewater paddling is Lusk Creek. Mann Lake is a relatively wet place commonly with a great deal of rain; April is the wettest month with most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
