There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Lusk Creek It's always great to check out Mill Spring. A brilliant place to camp here at Mann Lake is Musketeer Campground. For the period of the warm days of summer highs here at Mann Lake reach the 80's while nighttime lows are generally in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are frequently in       the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Mann Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Bear Branch offers some great whitewater, and Mann Lake is a place with many visitors from Paducah. There's good hiking along the River to River Trail, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Metropolis is a glorious location to spend a night or two. Why not camp at Steamboat Hill Campground if you're here at Mann Lake, and there's some attention-grabbing stuff                  to catch a glimpse of at Mann Lake Dam in the vicinity of Mann Lake. The high level of rain makes Mann Lake a pretty wet place; of all the months in a year April is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is October. This lake is so wonderful.
