After a long day outdoors Super 8 Metropolis is a great place to spend a night or two, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Lusk Creek. Mill Spring is always fun to check out, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Paducah here. This lake is so wonderful. Mann Lake is fine enough       to spend more than a day at, Steamboat Hill Campground is a fine local campground; a lake nearby is Hohman Lake. High temperatures at Mann Lake during the summer are in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 40's while Mann Lake night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 20's. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. Have a good hiking adventure                  along the River to River Trail. There's so much to do here at Mann Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Musketeer Campground is a splendid place for that. Mann Lake ordinarily gets a lot of rain; April is when you get the most rain here; October is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Hunnerkoch Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore.
