Spring Valley Inn is a delightful place to get some rest, and get wet paddling on Spring Creek. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors La Quinta Inn Peru is a brilliant location to spend a night or two. Lakes are good; Depue Lake is a lake that's next to Lyons Lake. From a rain point of view Lyons Lake is a quite common spot; most of the rain falls during August, and the driest       month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. This is a tremendous area for people who like lakes. North Gypsum Pond is a lake around here. And if you're still looking for more outdoors amusing things just keep reading. You'll meet a lot of people from Ottawa-Streator here; Condit's Ranch is a delightful campground nearby. If you came for an overnight stay Spring Lake Enterprise is a good place to camp, and if you're a golfer then a great nearby                  course is Spring Creek Golf Course. If you would like a little side spree, try Wolf Hollow, and drift down the rapids of Cedar Creek in a kayak. At Lyons Lake through the long summer days highs are in the 80's, and the nighttime is quite cooler of course, commonly in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Lyons Lake.
