Why not camp at Green River Oaks if you're here at Lake Louise, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Villa Olivia since you're here. From a precipitation point of view Lake Louise is a relatively normal spot; August is when you get the most rain here while February is regularly the driest month. Nearby       lakes? Sure, Deer Lake is in close proximity to Lake Louise, and skiing at Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park (Snowboarding only - no skiing) is one of those things you just ought to do. This lake is so wonderful. A visit to Illinois & Michigan Canal National Heritage Corridor is recommended, and if you need a location to stay Days Inn Barrington - Chicago is a perfect choice. At Lake Louise during the summer highs are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer                  temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Lake Louise are in the 0's.
