You'll find a wonderful lake called Big Lake near Lost Lake, and Copperas Creek Dam is stunning. For the duration of the warm months here at Lost Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Lost Lake. A delightful swamp close to Lost Lake is Buckbrush Slough, and do take       a look at Pond Lily Lake, it's a scenic lake. There's so much to do here at Lost Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Campground Number 1 is a good site for that, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Canton. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area near Lost Lake has to offer. The fine folks of Canton like to hang out nearby, and you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Deer Run Hiking Trail.                  This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lost Lake has to offer, you can camp at Pine Campground, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Pekin is a delightful choice.
