Coffee Creek is a wonderful stream that is worth a visit, and you're sure to come across some nice folks from Ottawa-Streator here. From a rain point of view Lost Lake is a rather common place; most of the rain falls during August, and the driest month of the year is February. A round of golf at       nearby Hunter's Ridge Golf Course is a perfect way to kill some time, and Lost Lake is a great location to visit for more than one day, Condit's Ranch is a great location to camp nearby. AmericInn Princeton is a nice place to get some rest; get drenched paddling on Spring Creek. All through the warm months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Lost Lake, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
