Camping at Schaul Country Lakes is always a fine experience; the scenery at Loch Lomond Dam is striking. After a long day outdoors Candlewood Suites CHICAGO/LIBERTYVILLE       is a delightful location to spend a night or two, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Wilmot mountain is rather near. Be careful coming to Loch Lomond, you might not ever want to go home again. If you need a site to stay Crowne Plaza Hotel CHICAGO-NORTH SHORE is a delightful choice; the skiing at Villa Olivia is good. Loch Lomond gets a common amount of precipitation; July is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. This                  lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Tamarack View Trail is magnificent fun; almost certainly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Saint Marys Lake is just a very short distance away. At Loch Lomond throughout the long summer days highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. For the period of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 20's while Loch Lomond overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.
