At Lima Lake through the summer months highs are in the 80's; the nighttime is somewhat cooler of course, typically in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's; overnight lows at Lima Lake all through the wintertime usually fall into the 10's. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do right next door to       Lima Lake. A delightful place for whitewater paddling close to Lima Lake is Cedar Creek, and you're sure to stumble upon some fine people from Quincy here. Camping is available at City of Keokuk Campground, and you're probably addicted to lakes, Jennifer Creek Reservoir is one of those nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Mississippi Hillside Cabin is a perfect spot to camp, and Comfort Inn Canton is a fine location to get                  some rest.
