Leo Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites LAKE ZURICH-BARRINGTON is a great place to spend a night or two, and Leo Lake is great enough to spend more       than a day at, Schaul Country Lakes is a great local campground. Kemper Lake Golf Club is a golf course near Leo Lake, and if you need a place to stay Hampton Inn Suites Chicago Deer Park is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. Really perfect skiing awaits you at Villa Olivia, and there's always Lake Amy Dam to have a look at near Leo Lake. Going for a hike on the Lake Defiance Nature Trail is always a fine adventure, and there's no such thing                  as a bad day of skiing at close by Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park (Snowboarding only - no skiing). There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Leo Lake. Here at Leo Lake you'll probably meet some folks from Chicago-Naperville-Joliet; if you're here, you could also go to pretty Lake Naomi. Summertime highs at Leo Lake typically tend to be in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Leo Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The Tamarack View Trail is a great hiking trail close to Leo Lake.
