Lambs Lake is a good site of common rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Kelly's Camp is a great local campground. Lakes are great; Lucky Lake is a lake that's near Lambs Lake. All the outdoors enjoyable things right next door       to Lambs Lake will keep you coming back time and again. Don't leave Lambs Lake without first going for a hike along the Volo Bog Interpretive Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Residence Inn Chicago Lake Forest/Mettawa. If you need a place to stay Sleep Inn is a good choice, and if you're visiting from Chicago-Naperville-Joliet, you won't be the only one. High temperatures at Lambs Lake through the months of summer are in the 80's. During the dark hours                  of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Lambs Lake drop into the 0's. Go for a hike on the Tamarack View Trail, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at White Sulphur Spring. An afternoon playing golf at Libertyville Golf Course is always a bliss; of course, this is a tremendous region for people who like lakes, Shady Lane Resort Lake is a lake in the vicinity. This lake is so wonderful.
