During the warmest time of the year at Lake Marion temperatures are generally in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Marion       temperatures plunge to the 10's. Windy City Campground is a nice campground nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Hilton Oak Lawn. A round of golf at nearby Fountain Hills Golf Course is a brilliant way to kill some time, and there are other places here than Lake Marion, for example Midlothian Creek Detention Reservoir. From a rain point of view Lake Marion is a relatively normal site; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months                  is February. This lake is so wonderful.
