Lake Marian is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Having a tremendous time at Lake Marian is uncomplicated. After a long day outdoors Courtyard By Marriott West Dundee is a pleasant site to spend a night or two; if you come at the right time of year, Fox River offers some great whitewater. | | Marian temperatures are commonly in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. All through the winter highs are regularly in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Marian temperatures dip to the 0's.

the Lake Defiance Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Indian Trail Beach, and going for a hike on the Leather Leaf Bog Trail is always a delightful adventure.

Suites By Marriott West Dundee is a wonderful place to get some rest; there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Fox River Trail. Head up to Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park (Snowboarding only - no skiing) and strap some skis
to your feet. The annual precipitation here at Lake Marian is about average; June is the month that gets the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture.
If you came to camp Buffalo Park Campground is a good location to do that; a day on the slopes of Villa Olivia is just what you need.
