Four Lakes is a fine local ski area; during your visit here you'll meet some people from Chicago-Naperville-Joliet for sure. And that's not all you can do here at Lake Irene. Lake Irene is not the only place nearby, Doughnut Lake is a nearby lake; Arlington Lakes Golf Club is a good golf course nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There's great hiking along the Tamarack View Trail, and camping is available at Green River Oaks. A pleasant close by hotel is Hotel

| | Indigo CHICAGO - SCHAUMBURG NORTH, naturally you could also have a look at Virginia Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. Summertime highs at Lake Irene usually tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; night lows in the 0's for Lake Irene. Sheraton Chicago Northwest is a pleasant location to get some rest, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Villa Olivia is relatively near. | |

Lake Irene gets a normal amount of yearly rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. The Volo Bog Interpretive Trail offers hiking at its best; if you came for an
overnight stay E Z Go is a good place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Lake Defiance Trail.

 | I love your golf course, playing from the black tee offers more challenges. Your fairway is excellent, the green I would say it's a true green most of the holes. ChevyChase offers challenges to most average players. I wish I could play the course much but it's sort of expensive for me as non-resident especially on the weekend.
