A visit to Cedar Falls will fill your soul with great feelings, and Lake Echon Dam has fine water scenery. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Echon a wet place; March is the month that gets the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. Summer at Lake Echon arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's; through the       dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Echon temperatures dip to the 10's. Dry warm beds await you at Ltd. Inn, and camping is available at Redbud Campground. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular location for folks from Harrisburg, and there's whitewater on Bear Branch for all you adrenaline rush seekers. If only every spot had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great world it would be. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Lusk                  Creek, and a fine place to camp here at Lake Echon is A Bay Creek Ranch Campground. While you're here at Lake Echon you can take a hike along the River to River Trail.
