You're almost certainly keen on lakes, Lake Thunderhawk is one of those nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Marion, IL. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at A Bay Creek Ranch Campground, and unsurprisingly, this is a great vicinity for people who like lakes, Cedar Lake is a lake in close       proximity. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of people from Harrisburg here at Lake Echon. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. A short trip to Cedar Falls is always worthwhile, and whitewater paddling is fine on Bear Branch. Get dripping wet paddling on Lusk Creek, and if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the River to River Trail. All through the warm months at Lake Echon highs are usually in the 80's. Summer overnight                  lows plunge down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Lake Echon. A lot of rainfall falls at Lake Echon; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is January.
