I believe the author of this piece meant to refer to Lake Storey in Galesburg which is next to Bunker Links Golf Course and also has a camp ground. At Lake Bracken during the summer months highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's; nighttime lows through the winter for Lake Bracken tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes?       Sure, Gale Lake is around here, and Lake Bracken Dam is not far at all from Lake Bracken. That right there is lots already, but it keeps on going; Lake Bracken has it all. Here at Lake Bracken you'll almost certainly meet some people from Galesburg. River Front Campground is a nice local campground; enjoy a round of golf at Bunker Links Municipal Golf Course. The annual rainfall here at Lake Bracken is about average; the wettest month of the year is usually                  July, that's the one that rains the most while February is typically the driest month.
