The Leather Leaf Bog Trail offers hiking at its best, and Alfred Keil is a splendid local campground. This lake is so wonderful. You're in all probability interested in lakes, Tomahawk Lake is one of those nearby, and the slopes of Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park (Snowboarding only - no skiing) are so inviting nobody can resist. Nearby lakes? Sure,       Wilderness Lake is close to Lac Louette, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lac Louette; Lake Defiance Nature Trail is a wonderful local trail. The yearly rainfall here at Lac Louette is about average; July is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are in fact bountiful here at Lac Louette. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a glorious nearby course is                  Pistakee Country Club; why not camp at Pistakee Fishing Club while you're here at Lac Louette. Dutch Creek flows through this neighborhood, and if you need a site to stay Super 8 McHenry is a delightful choice. Lac Louette is right by the Lake Defiance Trail; everybody nearby loves skiing at Wilmot mountain. At Lac Louette all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's, and the night is somewhat cooler of course, generally in the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's with temperatures at Lac Louette dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. So much entertaining stuff in the neighborhood of Lac Louette, clearly unbelievable.
