This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Cool Creek Resort while you're here at Klaus Lake, and La Quinta Inn and Suites O'Fallon/Mascoutah is a great place to get some rest. Lakes? Sure, Heavenly Hills Lake is in close proximity. Through the warm days of summer highs here at Klaus Lake get into the 80's, and all through       the night it cools down to the 60's. All through the wintertime the highs are typically in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Klaus Lake are in the 20's. From a rainfall point of view Klaus Lake is a relatively typical spot; May is when you get the most rain here, and January is when it's the driest.
