There are pleasant places to explore along the Tallgrass Nature Trail; camping at Green Fields Campground is always a magnificent experience. Kemery Lake is a place with many visitors from Kankakee-Bradley, and you'll hit upon a wonderful lake called Milliken Lake. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Des Plaines, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not take a look at Doyle Lake. This

Dry warm beds await you at Joliet Red Roof Inn, and obviously, all our national parks are magnificent places to go to and Illinois & Michigan Canal National Heritage Corridor is no exception. in the 20's, and night lows at Kemery Lake throughout the wintertime frequently sink into the 10's. Camping is available at Starting Line Campground; you don’t have to go far from Kemery Lake to see the water at Kemery Lake Dam.
If you need a spot to stay Super 8 Joliet/Chicago/I-80 is a great choice, and a golf course nearby is Channahon Park District Heritage Bluffs Public Golf Club. An average amount of precipitation falls at Kemery Lake; June is the month that gets the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest.

 | 12 miles away 1 PHOTO To inspect for log jams beneath the gravel pit access bridge directly east of Romeoville High School, you are allowed to drive up to, but not ACROSS the bridge, according to a security gaurd at the gravel pit. To check for log jams, I'd park BEFORE the bridge, and get out and walk across the bridge, looking over the railing. Also, there's a spot where you can walk up to the river edge.
