This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Days Inn Cairo is a good choice, and a great place to camp here at Kays Lake is Caledonia Campground. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff right next door to Kays Lake. A lake nearby is Twin Ponds. For the duration of the months of summer, highs usually are in the 90's at Kays Lake, and       during the night it cools down to the 60's. Throughout the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 40's with temperatures at Kays Lake dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. Kays Lake Dam is worth visiting if you're here, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Egyptian Country Club. Kays Lake gets lots of water; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; January meanwhile is the driest month.
