What a nice lake Lake Kadijah is. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. Do check out Lake Kadijah Dam if you're here at Lake Kadijah, and some close by water includes Meacham Creek. This lake is so wonderful. This is a nice vicinity for people who like lakes. Turner Pond is a lake in close proximity; why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Bloomingdale Golf Club. Holiday Inn Itasca (Woodfield Area), Il is a pleasant place

an overnight stay E Z Go is a good site to camp. Villa Olivia is a splendid local ski area, and you'll meet a lot of people from Chicago-Naperville-Joliet here. From a precipitation point of view Lake Kadijah is a pretty typical place;
the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most while February is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A good place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Lake Kadijah is Fox River, and the slopes of Four Lakes are so inviting nobody can resist.

 | 18 miles away 1 PHOTO To inspect for log jams beneath the gravel pit access bridge directly east of Romeoville High School, you are allowed to drive up to, but not ACROSS the bridge, according to a security gaurd at the gravel pit. To check for log jams, I'd park BEFORE the bridge, and get out and walk across the bridge, looking over the railing. Also, there's a spot where you can walk up to the river edge. Fox River
 | 19 miles away While there is limited whitewater, the Fox River has many put ins and take outs from just south of Elgin all the way to just north of the confluence of the Fox and the Illinois River. There are miles of quiet country scenery on the section of the river from Yorkville south (about 15 miles) There is an outfitter at the dam in Yorkville (Freeman's Sports)who rents canoes by the day and will provide shuttle service. There are sandstone cliffs near Sheridan. There are campgrounds along the river south of Yorkville for those who want to spend more than one day on the river. Be sure to be aware of where the dams are, they are dangerous. There are no dams south of Yorkville except the Dayton Dam which is a hydroelectric dam that prevents passage beyond Wedron.... |
