Whispering Oaks Campgrounds is a good campground here; an interesting thing to have a look at right next door to Jug Lake is Jug Lake Dam. This lake is so wonderful. Through the months of summer at Jug Lake highs are frequently in the 80's, and the night is a little chillier of course, regularly in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Jug Lake tend to be in the 10's. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Jug Lake.
