    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Illinois you can check out Iroquois Lake. You'll come across a lovely lake called Bayles Lake near Iroquois Lake, and Lake Iroquois Dam has good water scenery. All through the days of summer highs here at Iroquois Lake reach the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at  
   Iroquois Lake plunge into the 10's. A typical amount of rain falls here at Iroquois Lake; most of the rain falls during July, and February on the other hand is the driest.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Iroquois Lake has to offer, you can camp at Prairie Pines Campground; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Rantoul. Lakes are such serene places, why not stop by Lake Iroquois in the vicinity of Iroquois
 
               Lake, and after a long day outdoors SUPER 8 MOTEL - GILMAN is a brilliant site to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Iroquois Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rolling Hills Campground is a pleasant spot for that.
