Go to Illinois Waterway if you want to go to a nice lake. A normal amount of rain falls here at Illinois Waterway; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. After a long day outdoors Red Roof Inn Joliet is a magnificent place to spend a night or two, and Illinois Waterway is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Empress Rv Resort is a tremendous local campground. There's so much to do here at Illinois

a pleasure. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Illinois Waterway. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Illinois Waterway are in the 10's.
Very
delightful scenery and brilliant skiing is what you get at Four Lakes, and at Illinois Waterway you always meet someone from Chicago-Naperville-Joliet. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Illinois Waterway you acquire some good
water scenery at Lockport Powerhouse and Controling Work Dam; you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Tallgrass Nature Trail.
And that's not all you can do here at Illinois Waterway. Rock Lake is a great lake in close proximity to Illinois Waterway; do stop at Fraction Run if you're here at Illinois Waterway.
