Sure, Homer White Lake is in the neighborhood, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Tamarack View Trail. If you come at the right time of year, Pike River offers some great whitewater; Huntley Lake is a perfect place to visit for more than one       day, Fox River Recreation is a perfect place to camp nearby. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Huntley Lake; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. This place, Huntley Lake, it truly has so much outdoors cool stuff. Not far from Huntley Lake, you'll hit upon White Lake which is a gorgeous lake, and why not stop by White Lake Dam while you're here. Visit Hastings Creek since you're here at Huntley                  Lake, and Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park (Snowboarding only - no skiing) is a pleasant local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. At Huntley Lake you always meet someone from Racine, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites is a wonderful location to spend a night or two. An afternoon playing golf at Bittersweet Golf Club is always a pleasure. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Huntley Lake has to offer, you can camp at Schaul Country Lakes.
