That right there is loads already, but it keeps on going; Horseshoe Pond has it all. Lakeside RV is a tremendous local campground. Lakes? Sure, Half Moon Pond is nearby; a great close by hotel is Super 8 Olney. Half Moon Pond is a great lake close to Horseshoe Pond, and no need to travel far to stop at out of the ordinary stuff like Rattlesnake Bluff. This       lake is so wonderful. Horseshoe Pond is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Ioof Camp is a tremendous place to camp nearby, and Turkey Ridge is a peak you can spot from Horseshoe Pond. From a rainfall point of view Horseshoe Pond is a relatively common place; through May this area sees the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. For the period of the months of summer highs here at Horseshoe Pond get into the 80's with night lows                  in the 60's.
