You're sure to stumble upon some friendly people from Clinton here. Not far from Horseshoe Lake, you'll come across Pinoak Lake which is a wonderful lake; you can hit the slopes at Chestnut Mountain nearby. Horseshoe Lake gets a typical amount of annual rain; during the month of June you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful.       Lakes are pleasant; Lundy Lake is a lake that's near Horseshoe Lake; going for a hike on the Sunset Nature Trail is always a brilliant adventure. Lakewood Resort is a magnificent local campground, and if you need a spot to stay SUPER 8 MOTEL - SAVANNA is a brilliant choice. This lake is so wonderful. Running Slough is right next door to Horseshoe Lake and is always a bliss to stop by, and Longhollow Point Condominiums is a fine site to get some rest. You'll                  wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Horseshoe Lake. Palisades Golf Course is a tremendous golf course nearby, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the River Route Nature Trail. High temperatures at Horseshoe Lake all through the summertime months are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 60's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and night lows all through the winter for Horseshoe Lake tend to be in the 0's. A swamp like Cheek Slough right next door to Horseshoe Lake has lots of attention-grabbing things to see; on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Jackson County Recreational Trail.
