Old Channel Big Bureau Creek flows through this region; get drenched paddling on Cedar Creek. Do visit Spring Lake near Hormel Ponds, it's a delightful lake, and AmericInn Princeton is a fine site to get some rest. You'll need more than a day       to discover everything Hormel Ponds has to offer, you can camp at Condit's Ranch; while you're here and you like golf, you can explore Hunter's Ridge Golf Course. There's so much to do here at Hormel Ponds that you need to camp here for a while, Spring Lake Enterprise is a magnificent site for that; dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Princeton. Hormel Ponds is a good site of common rainfall; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one                  that rains the most; February is when it's the driest. All through the summer at Hormel Ponds highs are regularly in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's.
