Fourth Lake is a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Fox River Recreation is a splendid place to camp nearby, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Pike River. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Grayslake; if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the Lake Defiance Nature Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Wilmot mountain is in the vicinity of Fourth Lake, and hiking along the Tamarack View

| | Trail is good fun. Why not go to Lake Linden Dam while you're here; there are plenty of people from Racine here. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Candlewood Suites CHICAGO/LIBERTYVILLE is a great choice, and going for a hike along the Volo Bog Interpretive Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. nights at Fourth Lake are in the 0's. Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park (Snowboarding only - no skiing) is a magnificent local ski area. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Fourth Lake. If you're here at Fourth Lake
and you like golf, you can take a look at Carillon North of Grayslake Golf Course, and Sand Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Schaul Country Lakes is a perfect campground nearby, and do stop by Miltmore Lake, it's a scenic lake.
