Do stop at Calumet River close to Flatfoot Lake, it's a beautiful lake; if you need a location to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CHICAGO SOUTH LANSING is a good choice. Stay the night at All Seasons Campground, and Lake Cottage Grove is a nearby lake that you could visit. This lake is so wonderful. At Flatfoot Lake you always meet someone from Chicago-Naperville-Joliet, and since you're here you can play some golf at Burnham Woods Golf Course. A

This lake is so wonderful. Flatfoot Lake in fact is in the middle of a lovely outdoors paradise. Thomas J O'Brien Lock and Dam is an exciting thing to check out, and nothing beats kicking back at Calumet Park Beach.
