This is a great vicinity for folks who like lakes. Lake Tanglewood is a lake close at hand, and if you're here you can play some golf at Edgewood Golf Course. You're in all probability hooked on lakes, Swan Lake is one of those close by, and lots of people from Ottawa-Streator come here. From a precipitation point of view Fish N Fun Lake is a relatively normal location; of all the months in a year June is the one       with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. At Fish N Fun Lake through the summertime months highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 30's while Fish N Fun Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. La Quinta Inn Peru is a great spot to get some rest. Fish N Fun Lake Dam is not far at all from Fish N Fun Lake; there's whitewater on Cedar Creek for all you adrenaline kick people. This lake is so wonderful.
