Be careful coming to Fish Lake, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Don't leave Fish Lake without first going for a hike along the Volo Bog Interpretive Trail, and a nice nearby hotel is Marina Motel & Restaurant. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park (Snowboarding only - no skiing), needless to say you could also go to Wooster Lake since you're here; it's       not far at all. Go for a hike on the Tamarack View Trail, and the skiing at Wilmot mountain is glorious. Throughout the warm days of summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Fish Lake while nighttime lows are frequently in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Fish Lake. After a long day outdoors Patio Motel is a pleasant site to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Fish Lake                  that you need to camp here for a while, Alfred Keil is a tremendous spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Lake Defiance Nature Trail, and if you're a golfer then a great close by course is Stonewall Orchrd Golf Club. Fish Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Island On The Chain RV Park is a perfect local campground.
