The warmest time of the year at Fetter Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 30's with temperatures at Fetter Lake dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. Don't leave Fetter Lake without first going       for a hike along the River to River Trail. Lakes are good; Little Cache Number 1 Reservoir is a lake that's close to Fetter Lake. Fetter Lake gets much water; March is when you get the most rain here, and January meanwhile is the driest month. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Fetter Lake. Soar down the rapids of Lusk Creek in a kayak; you'll meet a lot of folks from Marion-Herrin here. This lake is so wonderful. Fetter                  Lake is a delightful location to visit for more than one day, Buck Ridge Campground is a delightful location to camp nearby, and get covered with water paddling on Bear Branch. You're most likely keen on lakes, Cedar Lake is one of those nearby; Drury Inn Marion is a fine location to get some rest.
