You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area right next door to Elmwood Farms Lake has to offer. Really perfect skiing awaits you at Wilmot mountain, and unsurprisingly Hastings Creek flows through this region. This lake is so wonderful. The Volo Bog Interpretive Trail is a brilliant hiking trail in close proximity to Elmwood Farms Lake, and Root River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby.
