After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites is a wonderful place to spend a night or two; East Loon Lake is a great place to camp, Old Port Cove Marina is a great place. If the weather is glorious here at East Loon Lake, you can go for a hike along the Volo Bog Interpretive Trail, and you can stay the night at Fox River Recreation. A lake nearby is Antioch Lake, and during your tour here you'll meet some       people from Racine for sure. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Wilmot mountain, and on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Lake Defiance Nature Trail. The yearly rainfall here at East Loon Lake is about average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. While you're here at East Loon Lake you can take a hike along the Tamarack View Trail,                  and if you're a golfer then a good nearby course is Antioch Golf Club. Through the summer months at East Loon Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. Through the winter the highs are generally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at East Loon Lake are in the 0's. If only every spot had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great world it would be. The snow is tremendous at Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park (Snowboarding only - no skiing), and in the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pike River. This lake is so wonderful.
