Lakes? Sure, Third Lake is in close proximity, and paddling on Pike River is so much fun. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! Druce Lake is peerless! Stay the night at Schaul Country Lakes; you're sure to run into some cheerful people from Racine here. The amount of rainfall that falls at Druce Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount

| | of precipitation. At Druce Lake during the days of summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. Throughout the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's; overnight lows through the wintertime for Druce Lake tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Lake Defiance Nature Trail is always a great adventure, and for you golfers we recommend close by Lake County Forest Preserve District Brae Loch Golf | |

Club. Comfort Suites Grayslake is a good spot to get some rest; close by you stumble on the Volo Bog Interpretive Trail which is a great hiking trail. There's so much to do here at Druce Lake that you need to camp here for a while,
Fox River Recreation is a great place for that; there is a great hiking trail close by called the Tamarack View Trail. After a long day outdoors Vista Hotel-Conf. Ctr Gurnee is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and you
can hit the slopes at Villa Olivia close by. This lake is so wonderful. Gages Lake is a pleasant lake next to Druce Lake; Wilmot mountain has glorious slopes and a friendly staff.
