Green River Oaks is a glorious campground nearby, and skiing at Villa Olivia is one of those things you just must do. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay E Z Go is a perfect place to camp; if you've had enough of Deer Grove Lake, Ashley Lake is close by. This lake is so wonderful.       You can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park (Snowboarding only - no skiing). So many cool things near Deer Grove Lake, truly incredible. If you need a location to stay Hampton Inn Suites Chicago Deer Park is a brilliant choice, and you're most likely into lakes, Deer Lake is one of those close by. Near Deer Grove Lake you hit upon a golf course called Palatine Hills Golf Course, and the Volo Bog Interpretive Trail                  is a great hiking trail close by. Deer Grove Lake is a good place of typical rain; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. At Deer Grove Lake during the long summer days highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Deer Grove Lake temperatures fall to the 0's.
