Wilmot mountain is a perfect local ski area, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Volo Bog Interpretive Trail. There's so much to do here at Davis Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Schaul Country Lakes is a pleasant place for that, and on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Lake Defiance Nature Trail. to do that. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Davis Lake; through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. A delightful swamp close to Davis Lake is Rays Lake; everybody
nearby loves skiing at Villa Olivia. You're sure to come across some cheerful people from Chicago-Naperville-Joliet here. This lake is so wonderful. At Lake Amy Dam in close proximity to Davis Lake there are some attention-grabbing
things to see, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Tamarack View Trail. For the period of the summer months at Davis Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Highs during the winter
are usually in the 20's; nighttime lows at Davis Lake all through the wintertime commonly drop into the 0's.
