Halfmoon Lake is a lake in the vicinity; it's a pleasant idea to stop by Spring Creek. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Cow Pond. A good place to camp here at Cow Pond is Mr Lincoln's Campground RV, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Sangamon. Lakes are perfect; Wiggins Slough is a lake that's close to Cow Pond, and right next       door to Cow Pond you discover a golf course called Rail Golf Club. There are plenty of people from Springfield here at Cow Pond; a great close by hotel is Howard Johnson Inn - Springfield Suites. High temperatures at Cow Pond throughout the summertime are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. Through the wintertime highs are commonly in the 30's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Cow Pond temperatures sink to the 10's. This lake is                  so wonderful. Camping at Best RV Park and Campground is always a delightful experience, and Homestyle Inn and Suites is a tremendous location to get some rest.
