A visit to Club Lake is always a good idea. Boulder Campground is a good campground nearby; Super 8 Motel - Carlyle is a glorious spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Club Lake, for example Carlyle Reservoir, and not far from Club Lake you obtain some great water scenery at Carlyle Dam. High temperatures at Club Lake throughout the warm days of summer are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's.

| | The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Club Lake are in the 10's.
So many enjoyable things to do at Club Lake, so little time. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not take a look at McMillian Lake next to Club Lake, and a wonderful close by hotel is Microtel Inn and Suites Carlyle. Governors Run Golf Course is a golf course in the vicinity of Club Lake, and the Chipmunk Trail is a great hiking trail close by.

great camp black top camp sites. boat ramp, on the largest mammade lake in Illinois. Sand beach with rest rooms.
Fish cleaning station. Have rv camped in Washington DC, West virginia, North and South Carilina and Georgia. They can not compare to sites at Coles Creek. There are many hiking trails and the Deer are every where.... |
