     If you came for an overnight stay Hi Five Sports Camp is a great place to camp, and you'll probably meet some folks from Chicago-Naperville-Joliet here. If you need a spot to stay Crowne Plaza Hotel CHICAGO-NORTHBROOK is a nice choice. During the summertime months at Citation Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down all
through the winter temperatures at Citation Lake drop into the 0's. There are other places here than Citation Lake, for example Lake Shermerville, and if you're here, you could take a look at Buffalo Creek.
The yearly rainfall here at Citation Lake is about average; during August this area sees the most rain; February is when it's the driest. What a location this is for outdoors folks. Hilton Chicago/Northbrook is a good location to get some rest; Allison

             Woods is a wonderful local forest. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such calm spots, why not have a look at Beck Lake near Citation Lake, and Mission Hills Country Club is a golf course nearby.
Joy Of The Game is a splendid local campground, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Villa Olivia.
