You'll meet a lot of people from Canton here, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Deer Run Hiking Trail. A delightful spot to camp here at Lake Chautauqua is Evening Star Camping Resort, and as expected Buckheart Creek is a charming stream that is worth checking out. Just can't get enough of Lake Chautauqua. At Lake Chautauqua through the summertime months highs are in the 80's.       Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Chautauqua temperatures dip to the 10's. Lake Chautauqua gets a common amount of rainfall; July is the month that gets the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
