This lake is so wonderful. McKay Flats is a beautiful location any time of year, and why not take a little spree to Coon Slough while you're here. What a site this is for outdoors folks. Taking a little journey to nearby Sangamon Bay is a perfect idea, and do check out Lower Crow Hole, it's a stunning lake. All through the long summer days at Carp Hole highs       are frequently in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's; through the dark hours in the winter at Carp Hole temperatures dip to the 10's. Carp Hole is a good place of common rainfall; most of the rain falls through May, and January on the other hand is the driest.
