Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Carbon Lake is excellent! There's so much to do here at Carbon Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Shady Rest Campground is a magnificent location for that, and during your visit here you'll meet some folks from Carbondale for sure. If you get bored of Carbon Lake, you could also visit close by Borgsmiller Lake; if you're a golfer then       a fine close by course is Jackson Country Club. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Carbon Lake has to offer, you can camp at Big Oak Campground; you don’t have to go far from Carbon Lake to catch a sight of the water at Borgsmiller Lake Dam. For the period of the days of summer at Carbon Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is                  down through the wintertime temperatures at Carbon Lake sink into the 20's. From Carbon Lake you obtain a pleasant view of Mount Carbon, and if you need a place to stay Carbondale Super 8 Motel is a splendid choice. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn, and obviously Jones Quarry Creek flows through this region. Carbon Lake gets lots of water; May is the month that gets the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
