A visit to Byrd Pond is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. Cave Spring is a beautiful spot to have a look at while you're at Byrd Pond, and if you're here, you could also stop at scenic Lamey Pond. The annual rain here at Byrd Pond is about average; the wettest month of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most; January on the other hand is the driest.
